No-Sugar Gingerbread Cookies Recipe That Keeps Its Shape Beautifully


If you are looking for a no-sugar cookies recipe that still tastes delicious and works well with cookie cutters, this one is such a good option. These cookies have a rich gingerbread flavor, smell amazing while baking, and hold their shape beautifully even if the dough rises more than expected. INGREDIENTS:


🧈Butter - 90 g (about 3/8 cup)

🄚1 Egg 

🌾 Flour - 350 g (about 2 3/4 cups regular flour)

šŸÆ Honey, 90 g (about 1/4 cup)

šŸ„„Baking soda, 1/2 tsp

🫚Ground ginger, 1/2 tsp (I used 1 tsp)

Ā šŸ„„Ground cinnamon, 1/2 tsp (I used 1 tsp)


  • This amount of dough makes about 16 -18 cookies šŸ§øšŸŖ




INSTRUCTIONS:


šŸ”¹ Mix together the flour, baking soda, and spices.


šŸ”¹ Add the room-temperature butter, honey, and egg to the dry ingredients, then mix well.


šŸ”¹ Knead the dough.



šŸ”¹ Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight.


šŸ”¹ Roll out the dough not too thick, about 3/16 to 1/4 inch, as the cookies rise quite a lot ā˜ļø


šŸ”¹ Cut out the cookies with cookie cutters.


šŸ”¹ Bake at 170°C (340°F) for about 15 minutes, or until golden.
