EGG-FREE SUGAR COOKIES RECIPE (WITH CANE SUGAR & CINNAMON)

This egg-free sugar cookies recipe is super easy and works great with cutters with imprint. The full dough-making process took me just about 7 minutes, plus a few minutes more to roll and cut out. Sharing it below for you to try as promised on my Instagram š«¶Ā

ā½ļøINGREDIENTS:
š¹Flour ā 350 g or 12 oz (or 600 ml in measuring cup) extra for dusting
š¹Cane sugar ā approx. 85ā125 g or 3ā4 oz (100ā150 ml in measuring cup), depending on how sweet you like it
š¹Butter ā 200 g (7 oz), room temperature
š¹Corn starch ā 1 tablespoonĀ
š¹Water ā 2ā3 tablespoons (mixed with corn starch to replace 1 egg ā or just use an egg if you prefer)
š¹Baking powder ā ½ teaspoon
š¹Cinnamon ā 1 teaspoon (optional but sooo good for the smell)
The cutters I used are available in my shop as well as the STL files to 3D print yourself at home š«¶

INSTRUCTIONS:
š¹ MixĀ butter and cane sugarĀ until smooth.
š¹ In a separate bowl, mixĀ corn starch and waterĀ (this replaces one egg).
š¹ AddĀ half of the flourĀ and theĀ baking powder, and mix well.
š¹ Add theĀ remaining flourĀ andĀ cinnamonĀ (optional).
š¹ Mix until the dough isĀ no longer sticky.
š¹ Wrap the dough andĀ chill in the fridge for 30ā40 minutes.
š¹ Roll out to aboutĀ 3/16"ā1/4" thick.
š¹ Dust with flourĀ and cut out your cookies.
š¹ Bake for about 10 minutes at 180°C (350°F), or until lightly golden.

I loved the result, especially the gentleĀ cinnamon scent, which always puts me in a festive mood. šāØ

You can decorate the cookies with icing or leave them as they are, theyāre delicious either way! š
